HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday received in audience Ra’afat Abdullah Al-Sabbagh, Special Advisor at the Royal Court, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the audience ceremony, His Majesty received a formal invitation to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Accompanying Ra’afat Abdullah was Charge d’Affaires at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Brunei Darussalam Hussain Mohammed Al-Dajani.
Also present at the ceremony was Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof and Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Hajah Siti Norishan binti Haji Abdul Ghafor.
The audience ceremony took place at Istana Nurul Iman.
