ATTORNEY General and Public Prosecutor Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Hayati binti Pehin Orang Kaya Shahbandar Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Salleh led a delegation to attend the Meeting of Attorneys General from July 24 -25 in Singapore.
The Meeting of the Attorneys General was hosted by Attorney General of Singapore Lucien Wong and attended by Attorneys General from the ASEAN region, who gathered to strengthen ties and cooperation among the Attorneys General and Prosecutors General as well as sharing best practices and strengthen professional ties through a series of networking sessions.
During the Attorneys General working lunch, guest of honour Minister for Law and Home Affairs of Singapore K Shanmugam encouraged counterparts to engage in legal harmonisation to create a better business environment and enhance regional connectivity.
At the conclusion of the Meeting of Attorneys General, Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Hayati also paid a courtesy call to the Attorney General of Singapore to discuss areas of further cooperation, training opportunities and issues of common concern.
Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Hayati also attended the opening ceremony of the 13th ASEAN Law Association General Assembly and Conference at Fairmont Singapore on July 26.
