HIS Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman last night graced the sixth day of the Brunei Open Badminton Championship 2018 at the Multi-Purpose Hall of The Centrepoint Hotel.
Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Muntaqim ibni Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah safely sealed his place in the last four of the junior under-14 category after beating Hung Wei Li in a straight-set 21-14, 21-17 victory.
Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Muntaqim’s collection of drop shots was effective in an impressive showing as he utilised the court with some fine touches.
Yang Teramat Mulia will face either Muhd Izzuddin bin Ermadena or Dessen Chung Min Tin for a place in Saturday’s final.
He earned his place in the quarter-final after beating Mohd Daffa Dany bin Ali Hussin in a straight-set 21-9, 21-18 win.
Also present was Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah binti Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah.
