INSTITUTE of Brunei Technical Education Jefri Bolkiah Campus (IBTE JBC) yesterday handed over BND727.74 in donations to the Children’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA).
The funds, raised through a charity brisk walkathon held in April 2018, will help support YASKA programmes for child cancer patients at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital.
IBTE Satellite Principal Norjemee bin Jenek handed over the donation to YASKA Vice Chairperson Tsara’Nawwarah binti Abdullah Chen.
As a non-governmental organisation, YASKA is focussed on providing support for children with cancer and their families.
The IBTE Satellite Campus is expected to continue conducting similar events in the future.
