MINISTER of Culture, Youth and Sports Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin yesterday received a courtesy call from Secretary-General of the Malaysian Ministry of Youth and Sports Dato Lokman Hakim bin Ali, as a representative of the Malaysian Minister of Youth and Sports.
The courtesy call was held at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) building in Jalan Kebangsaan Lama.
Both sides exchanged views and information on the preparations for the Malaysian Game XIX (Sukma XIX) which is scheduled to take place on September 11-22 in the state of Perak Darul Ridzuan.
Brunei has participated 10 times in the Sukma Games since 1996, and will be competing in several sporting events this year.
Communications, Multimedia, Non-Governmental Organisation and Cooperatives Development Committee Chairman of Perak Hasnul Zulkarnain bin Abdul Munaim; Perak State Secretary Dato Haji Mohd Gazali bin Jalal; Permanent Secretary at the MCYS Datin Paduka Dr Hajah Norlila binti Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil; and senior MCYS officers were also in attendance.
