BERAKAS English School (BES) alumni won the solidarity golf match against Sultan Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien College (SOASC) alumni at the Royal Brunei Airlines Golf Club in Berakas on Monday.
BES, now known as Berakas Secondary School, won by four points finishing 704, while SOASC alumni scored 708.
Yunshi Abdullah of BES was named gross category winner after scoring 75 points, while the SOASC alumni gross winner was Lieutenant Colonel (Rtd) Haji Nasir with 80 points.
The top 10 players of the tournament were Yunshi Abdullah, Latif Haji Abdul Hamid, Major (Rtd) Haji Majid, Colonel (Rtd) Dato Harith, Haji Shahbandi, Lieutenant Colonel (Rtd) Pengiran Ali, Lieutenant Colonel (Rtd) Haji Abidin, Pengiran Zamani Pengiran Haji Ahmad and Haji Amin.
