Retiring officers honoured at appreciation ceremony

A TOTAL of 92 retired rank and file police personnel were recognised for their loyal service to the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) and nation in an appreciation ceremony at the Auditorium of Police Headquarters on Saturday.

The guest of honour was Commissioner of Police Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohd Jammy bin Haji Muhd Shah Al-Islam with his spouse President of Welfare Body of Police’s Wives and Families (PEKERTI) Datin Hajah Kamariah binti Haji Abd Hamid.

Chairperson of the organising committee Senior Superintendent Haji Zaini bin Haji Abdul Rahim thanked the retired personnel for their contribution and dedication.

Sergeant Major 1615 Bujang anak Datu, speaking on behalf of the retired police personnel said, “Although we will not be able to serve the force, we will continue to work together and provide ideas to the Royal Brunei Police Force.”
