THE Ministry of Education (MoE) in collaboration with the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) organised a Doa Kesyukuran at the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the capital yesterday.
The ceremony was held to commemorate the 28th Teacher’s Day Celebration 2018.
Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman and Minister of Education Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sulaiman attended the ceremony.
A total of 1,500 people comprising officers and staff from the MoRA and MoE attended the ceremony.
Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Deputy Minister of Education Datin Seri Paduka Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh, Permanent Secretary at the MoRA Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Mohd Yusof and Permanent Secretary (Higher Education) at the MoE Haji Azman bin Haji Ahmad were also present.
