TWO new members of the Kampong Danau Neighbourhood Watch received their certificates of appointment during a ceremony at the Community Hall of Kampong Danau, Tutong on Thursday night.
Tutong Police District Commanding Officer Superintendent Suhairi bin Haji Sukri presented the certificates.
Legislative Council member and Penghulu of Mukim Telisai Yang Berhormat Haji Ramli bin Haji Lahit was also present. The increase in the number of members will strengthen the Neighbourhood Watch organisation of Kampong Danau.
Cooperation between the Royal Brunei Police Force and Neighbourhood Watch will improve strategies in enhancing the channel of information, patrols as well as monitoring of criminal activities in the village.
