A DOA Kesyukuran ceremony was held yesterday at Surau Ad-Difa’, Bolkiah Garrison, for the 14th International Monitoring Team (IMT) contingent that safely returned to Brunei Darussalam early this month.
Comprising eight Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) personnel and an officer from the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), the 14th IMT completed its one-year long mission in Mindanao and returned on September 6.
Commander of the RBAF Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud; Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence (MinDef) Brigadier General (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Shahril Anwar bin Haji Ma’awiah; and Deputy Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali were present.
The event began with the recitation of Wirid and Doa Kesyukuran, followed by Dikir Marhaban.
Service commanders, deputy permanent secretaries at the MinDef, civilian and military directors, senior officers and members of the MinDef and RBAF were also present.
