TENPIN Bowlers Roslan bin Abdullah from PTES Pinwreckers and Hajah Norafida binti Pehin Datu Derma Sakti Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Razak from UBD Bowlers were named as the Best Male and Female Player respectively of the Tenpin Bowling Championship in conjunction with 28th Teacher’s Day.
The championship held at the iBowl Utama in Jalan Batu Satu on Sunday also saw Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) sweeping away the two top spots in the Male VIP Category.
Leading the male vip winners was Dr Adam bin Haji Jait as the champion followed by Dr Supri bin Sudin while second runner-up was won by Zainal Abidin bin Kifli from the Department of Schools Inspectorate, Ministry of Education.
In the Female VIP category, Norhayati binti Haji Serudin from the Department of Schools took the top spot followed by Hajah Murni binti Abdullah from PTE Tutong and guest of honour Deputy Minister of Education Datin Seri Paduka Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh.
Datin Seri Paduka Dr Hajah Romaizah presented prizes.
For the teams category, PTES Pinwreckers emerged as the champion follwed with XNP and UNISSA 2 as first and second runner-ups winners in the male category while female catgeory was won by UTB Bowlers and second MDQueenPins and third UBD Bowling Team.
