EAST Squad outperformed Shuttle Whackers in the final match of the 2018 Inter-Asset/Service Unit Badminton Tournament organised by Brunei Shell Recreational Club (BSRC) at the BSRC Multipurpose Hall on Wednesday night.
AEP and LSM finished third and fourth.
The seven-day tournament saw nine teams – AEP, BLNG Cryogenic, BLNG Superheater, Champion 7B ShuttlerZ, East Squad, HP Njoi, LSM Team, Shuttle Whackers and TWC Mavericks participating.
Deputy Managing Director and Technical Director of Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (BSP) Yap Kong Fah was the guest of honour.
Also present were East Asset Manager at BSP Paul Van Den Hemel, as well as senior officials and staff members from Brunei Shell Joint Venture (BSJV) companies and contractors.
First conducted in 2009, the tournament has seen six champions crowned until 2015, before making a return this year.
