A KHATAM Al-Quran ceremony was yesterday held for 304 students at the Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, in conjunction with the 26th Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) Convocation.

Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Mohd Yusof was the guest of honour.

IBTE Acting CEO Dr Haji Mohd Zamri bin Haji Sabli, deputy CEO, divisional directors, senior officers, parents and guardians were also in attendance.

The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by the guest of honour, and was followed by a mass recitation of Surah Ad-Dhuhaa to Surah Al-Masad led by Md Nur Faiz Fikri bin Noor Asmali, an IBTE Business Campus student.
