AHMAD Taufiq will face Md Qusyairi in the race for top spot in Group C of the Brunei National 9-Ball Pool Championship at the Billiards & Snooker Hall II of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas tonight.
Winner of Group C will advance to the quarter-finals on Sunday. On Wednesday, Ahmad Taufiq defeated Md Airwan 9-1, after defeating Md Azim, who beat Muhidi 9-6.
Md Qusyairi beat Pengiran Khairul Rijal 9-4 and Md Kamarul 9-0 to stay in contention for the top spot. Earlier, Md Azri Suhardi edged Hasrijam 9-7, who then was beaten by Pengiran Khairul Rijal.
