HIS Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, and General of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, made a working visit to the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Command (UAVC) located at Tengah Air Base, Singapore yesterday.
Accompanying His Royal Highness was the Senior Minister of State for Defence and Foreign Affairs as Minister-in-attendance Dr Mohamad Maliki bin Osman.
His Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah was greeted on arrival by the Minister for Defence of the Republic of Singapore Ng Eng Hen and the Chief of Air Force Major General Mervyn Tan.
Upon arrival at Tengah Air Base, His Royal Highness proceeded to the special dais to receive a salute of honour.
His Royal Highness then inspected the guard of honour accompanied by Ng Eng Hen and Major General Mervyn Tan.
After the inspection, His Royal Highness signed a royal parchment at the Heritage Room, before proceeding for a briefing on the UAVC.
Afterwards, His Royal Highness visited Murai Base Camp to view two types of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Operation and joined a photo session with senior officers of the UAV Operation.
His Royal Highness proceeded to UAV Mission Training Centre to witness and try on UAV Training Simulator, before being ushered to a reception with senior officers of the Ministry of Defence.
After the reception, His Royal Highness received a pesambah from the Chief of Air Force, and Minister for Defence of the Republic of Singapore.
His Royal Highness reciprocated with gifts to the Chief of Air Force and Minister for Defence of the Republic of Singapore.
After the tour, His Royal Highness proceeded for a luncheon hosted by Minister for Defence of the Republic of Singapore at the Grand Hyatt Singapore.
