GHK opened their campaign in the Veterans Low San Shield of the Low San Brunei Basketball Open 2018 after overcoming winless Linktech 94-76 at the Brunei Basketball Association Court in Batu Bersurat last night.
GHK joined TK Tea House at the summit of Group ‘A’ while on the other hand, Linktech suffered a second straight defeat.
Vincent led the scoring charts with a game-high of 28 points as Tan Wei Khee and Kenny Lim posted double digits scores.
GHK rallied with 23-22 in the first quarter before they built a five-point lead in the second.
They widened the gap in the third to put them in firm position and never looked like losing in the fourth to march to their first win.
Linktech will meet Team Airish/TSL tomorrow while GHK will attempt for a second straight win against Stars on 40s on November 10.
The top two from each group in the Veterans Low San Shield will advance to the semi-finals.
