OVER 200 Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) personnel on Thursday attended a roadshow hosted by Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD) in conjunction with World Investor Week (WIW).
The roadshow commenced with a briefing on AMBD’s roles and was followed by a Basic Investment talk by the Brunei Darussalam Capital Market Association.
The presentation on ‘Financial Planning and Avoiding Financial Fraud’ was delivered by a representative from the Financial Planning Association Brunei Darussalam.
The roadshow concluded with a questions and answers session.
Head of Career Planning and Personnel Unit under General Administration and Finance Department of the RBPF Superintendent of Police Tang Yik Tung and AMBD Acting Senior Manager of Capital Market Hajah Noor Aznah binti Haji Nayan attended the event.
The roadshow was one of the dialogue programmes prepared by AMBD with the aim of disseminating information on its responsibilities and tasks to raise awareness on financial literacy, investment education as well as investment protection.
