RELIGIOUS teachers in the country are urged to continue exploring knowledge in facing the globalisation era with various skills. Teachers serve as guides, and an excellent teacher will positively impact students in their development.
Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof noted this at the launching ceremony for the Dikir Maulid Syarafil Anam and Maulid BerZanji Nasr (Rawi) interactive software and MP3 audio at the MoRA building yesterday.
The permanent secretary expressed hopes that teachers would hone their skills more by participating in community activities, especially religious ceremonies.
The interactive software and MP3 audio looks to enhance the teaching and learning of Dikir at religious schools.
MoRA has made the Dikir Maulid Syarafil Anam and Rawi as one of the subjects in the religious school curriculum and one of the co-curriculum activities at religious schools.
The event also aimed to spread the interactive software and MP3 audio of Dikir Maulid Syarafil Anam and Rawi published by the Department of Islamic Studies.
Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Religious) at the MoRA Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang and Acting Director of Islamic Studies cum event Chairman Haji Shamshol bin Haji Omar attended the launch.
The event included the presentation of souvenirs to Imam Haji Daud bin Haji Abdul Kadir (as the instructor) and officers who made the recording of the Dikir and Rawi, as well as the presentation of the interactive software disc and MP3 audio Dikir Maulid Syarafil Anam and Rawi to a school representative.
The event started with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and a welcoming speech by Haji Shamsol.
