SURI Seri Begawan (SSB) Hospital, Kuala Belait celebrated its 46th anniversary with a religious ceremony at the multi-purpose hall of the hospital yesterday, Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar was the guest of honour.
Welcoming the minister was Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SSB Hospital Haji Abdul Khalid As’ari bin Haji Azahari.
The ceremony began with a mass recitation of Surah Lazim followed by the reading of Doa Khatam and Doa Kesyukuran led by Head Religious Teacher of the hospital Ustaz Mohd Ali Omar bin Haji Mohd Yusof.
The event proceeded with the mass recitation of Dikir Marhaban and a mass Asar prayer.
A gift was presented to the guest of honour by the CEO of SSB Hospital as a token of appreciation.
Also present were Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health Haji Abdul Manap bin Othman, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Professional) at the Ministry of Health Dr Haji Zulaidi bin Haji Abdul Latif, directors and senior officers from the ministry, as well as officers and staff members from the SSB Hospital.
