Leadership camp hones skills of 46 youth

FORTY-SIX youth comprising 16 males and 30 females participated in the Youth Career Leadership Camp 2.0 (YCLC 2.0) at Sungai Kebun Sports Complex, Jalan Lumapas on Friday.

The camp organised by Generasi Bekarih sees the participants staying at the Sungai Kebun Sports Complex for two days and three nights with the aim of raising awareness in religion, family, community and country.

The camp participants are guided by local facilitators of Generasi Bekarih and several mentors such as Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Usuluddin, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) and Advisor of Majlis Ta’lim Anwar Al-Huda Ustaz Pengiran Abdul Basit bin Pengiran Haji Zaini, Muhammad Haziq Hisyam bin Mohd Zaki of Persatuan Kemajuan Insan (KESAN) and Alumni member of Generasi Bekarih Mohammed Hafiz bin Hamzah.

The camp is expected to assist local youth in identifying their direction, honing leadership qualities, enhancing communication skills, creating a curriculum vitae (CV) and cover letter and obtaining tips for interviews and ‘work-life balance’ as well as entrepreneurship.
