THE Brunei Breast Cancer Support Group (BBCSG) held a Dikir Maulud at the residence of President of the association Hajah Aminah binti Haji Momin in Kampong Rimba on Friday.
The ceremony began with mass Isyak prayer.
President of BBCSG, in her welcoming remarks, said the ceremony was first of its kind organised by the association to enliven the celebration of Maulidur Rasul.
The ceremony also coincided with a Doa Kesyukuran for the 2018 Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Around 60 members of the Marhaban Warga Emas group participated in the event. The recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, Dikir and Doa Selamat was led by Ustazah Pengiran Hajah Halijah binti Pengiran Haji Damit.
Hajah Aminah added that a seminar on Breast Cancer Awareness 2018 will be held at the Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre on November 29.
