THE Ministry of Health (MoH) held a Dikir Maulud ceremony in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration last night at the Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque in Kampong Manggis/Madang.
Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar headed the MoH delegation.
The religious ceremony began with mass Maghrib prayer followed with the mass reading of Surah Al-Fatihah and Dikir Syarafil Anam. It then continued with a mass Isyak prayer and ended with a Doa Selamat.
Also at the event were Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Pengiran Haji Ali bin Pengiran Maon in his capacity as the Penghulu of Mukim Berakas ‘B’; Permanent Secretary at the MoH Haji Abdul Manap bin Othman; Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Management) Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin; Deputy Permanent Secretary (Professional) Dr Haji Zulaidi bin Haji Abdul Latif; senior officers, staff and Dikir group of the ministry, members of the mosque’s Takmir committee, mosque congregants and village residents.

A DIKIR ceremony of Maulidur Rasul to celebrate the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) was recently held at the Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Sungai Akar.
Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Haji Apong attended the event in his capacity as patron of Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Mosque with around 120 residents of Kampong Sungai Akar.
The main session was conducted after the mass Maghrib prayer.

TO COMMEMORATE the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), an entourage from the Ministry of Religious Affairs conducted the Dikir Maulud across the country.
In the Belait District, the ceremony was held at the STKRJ Lorong Tiga Selatan Seria Mosque yesterday evening. Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Religious) at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang was the guest of honour who was accompanied by senior officers as well as staff at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Also present during the event were penghulus, village heads and residents from the area.
The ceremony started with a mass Maghrib prayer and mass Sunnat Hajat prayer followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by the guest of honour. It was followed by the mass recitation of the Dikir.

A DIKIR ceremony to celebrate the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was recently held at the Mohamed Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Serusop.
Guest of honour Rector of the Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali Dr Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal attended the event with heads of department, officers and staff of the Ministry of Education.
It is hoped an event such as this will forge closer ties among the Ministry of Education community as well as the residents of the village.
The delegation from the Ministry of Education conducts the Dikir ceremony for 12 nights in a row at different mosques, suraus and religious halls in the country. On Monday they will have a Dikir ceremony at the Sufri Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Perpindahan Berakas.

WINGS MG Society (WMGS) Brunei visited Religious Hall of Kampong Bebuloh on Thursday evening to join the mass Maghrib and Isyak prayers as well as for participating in the Dikir Maulud with the village residents. It was part of the ‘Route to Masjid’ project.
Six members of Wings MG Society (WMGS) Brunei and their family led by the WMGS State Leader Hasnan bin Haji Hashim and WMGS Right Man Juffari bin Haji Japar participated in the event.
Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Haji Mohimin bin Haji Johari @Jahari, village head of Kampong Bebuluh Haji Mohd Said bin Tundak and Imam Saifullah bin Haji Mohamad Sofian as the Dikir lead were present at the ceremony.
