THE Ministry of Education held a religious ceremony in conjunction with Maulidur Rasul at the Main Hall, Ministry of Education (MoE) recently.
Minister of Education Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sulaiman was the guest of honour.
Deputy Minister of Education Datin Seri Paduka Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh, Permanent Secretary (Higher Education) at the MoE Dr Haji Azman bin Ahmad, Permanent Secretary (Core Education) at the MoE Dr Shamsiah Zuraini Kanchanawati binti Haji Tajuddin, Acting Director General of Education Hajah Anis Faudzulani binti Haji Dzulkiflee, heads of departments, senior officers and MoE staff were also present.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat by Mosque Affairs Officer Imam Md Amin bin Haji Salim.
The ceremony continued with a special talk titled Qudwah Hasanah Teladan Kepimpinan by speaker from the Brunei Islamic Religious Council Ustaz Haji Samsul Muawan bin Haji Shodiq.
It continued with the recitation of Dikir Asyraqal by a Dikir group from the MoE.
