THE International Women’s Club of Brunei (IWCB) held a Hi-tea event themed ‘Laces and Beads’ to celebrate its 30th anniversary at the Mutiara Ballroom of the Radisson Hotel recently.
Almost 100 guests comprising members and honourary members attended the event in beads and laces attires.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by a welcoming address by President of the ICWB Ungku Datin Hajjah Fanzah binti Haji Osman.
She expressed her appreciation to the members for their support, highlighted the charitable and social activities of the club throughout the year and hoped they will continue to support the IWCB in its activities.
The event continued with a presentation of a donation from the proceeds of the recent Charity International Food Fair event held on November 4 to Pusat Ehsan Executive Trustee Pengiran Datin Hajah Noraini binti Pengiran Dipa Negara Laila Diraja Pengiran Haji Abdul Momin.
The event continued with the cutting of anniversary cake and prize presentation to the best dressed guest.
