A GRADUATION and award presentation ceremony was held yesterday, for over 100 students at the Pengiran Setia Negara Pengiran Mohd Yusof Primary School (SR PSNPMY).
Head of Schools of Cluster Six at the Ministry of Education Asmah binti Tengah the guest of honour, was welcomed to the venue by Headmistress of SR PSNPMY Hayati binti Haji Ismail, and the event chairperson Hamni Mazira binti Malek.
In her speech, the headmistress expressed the hope that the ceremony would inspire the students to do better in their academic pursuits and co-curriculum activities. “Furthermore, we want to encourage the continued cooperation and support from their parents and guardians, to ensure that our students will be able to keep up with the process of learning both at school and at home,” she said.
Following her speech, a total of 33 preschoolers from the school’s two pre-school classes, Pra ‘A’ and Pra ‘B’, lined up to receive their graduation certificate from the guest of honour.
Later, awards and certificates were presented to the students who had performed exceptionally over the course of the 2018 academic year.
