THE Surah Ar-Rahman and Surah As-Sajadah Memorising Camp for 60 individuals from mosque youth groups ended following a certificate presentation ceremony yesterday.
The three-day camp, organised jointly by the mosque Takmir committee and Muslimah groups of STKRJ Lambak Kiri Mosque and Kampong Bengkurong Mosque was held to encourage the participants to glorify mosques and become closer to Al-Quran through the exposure of different memorising skills.
Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar was the guest of honour at the closing ceremony held at the STKRJ Lambak Kiri Mosque.
He presented prizes to three top participants and certificates of participation.
Nurul Afiqah binti Haji Lamit was the best participant, while the runner-up was Haji Ahmad Abu Daud bin Haji Aji and the second runner-up was Nur Saidatul Laila Syafiqah binti Supin Saroy.
