A DELEGATION from the Brunei Islamic Religious Council (MUIB) recently visited the homes of four individuals in the Belait District, who are in need of assistive equipment.

Head of Religious Officer in the Belait District Haji Asminan bin Haji Chuchu led the delegation.

Their first stop was the house of Ramli bin Bakar, 50, at RPN Kampong Pandan ‘B’ who received a hospital bed manual, ripple mattress, and a Commode chair.

The MUIB officials then visited the residence of Mohd Jamil bin Haji Abdul Manaf, 56, also residing in RPN Kampong Pandan ‘B’. Mohd Jamil received a standard wheelchair.

The delegation then proceeded to the house of Rasidah binti Nawang, 53, in RPN Kampong Pandan ‘C’ to present her with a Commode chair.

The final stop was at the residence of Abdul Khalid bin Haji Zainal Abidin, 58, at Kampong Sungai Tali in Lumut, who received a Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (C-PAP) machine.

The donated equipment was the result of the collected Zakat funds for the poor and destitute by the MUIB, which serves to help lessen the burden of those in need.
