DEPUTY Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT) Haji Halidi bin Haji Mohd Salleh launched the new cookbook titled Flowers & Fruits in Cooking at the Wasan paddy plantation site in Mukim Pengkalan Batu yesterday.
Deputy Permanent Secretary (Management, Cooperatives and Industry) at the Ministry of Energy, Manpower and Industry (MEMI) Hajah Tutiaty binti Haji Abdul Wahab, Director of Agriculture and Agrifood Hajah Aidah binti Haji Mohd Hanifah and senior government officers from the MPRT were also present.
The book’s author, Siti Zaleha binti Kaprawi, is a renowned event organiser and dedicated home cook. The book highlights innovative cooking styles using an abundance of local ingredients and flowers.
The event was hosted by Syarikat Pakatan Mekar Hijau Sdn Bhd, the sole producer and supplier of certified paddy seeds in Brunei Darussalam.
