Off-road expedition offers Tutong experience

FIFTY-SIX participants in a convoy of 25 4WD vehicles are set for an adventurous trip in a five-day-four-night off-road expedition in Tutong District following the flag-off for the Jungle Quest 2018 yesterday morning in Pekan Tutong.

The guest of honour, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Tourism) at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism Wardi bin Haji Mohammad Ali launched the event.

Acting Tutong District Officer and Chairman of Tutong Municipal Board Haji Azmi bin Haji Abdul Rahim was also present.

Event Director of NT Event Management Atiqah binti Abdullah said that the event is part of the Brunei December Festival 2018 to promote the country as a destination for off-road expedition.

Participants hailing from Sabah, Sarawak, Kuala Lumpur, Samarinda, Jakarta, Vietnam and Great Britain will go through Kampong Liulon, Kampong Penapar, Rambai, to the Hardcore Trail and Bukit Sulang and then to Kiudang.
