SOME 60 children who joined the two-day Tanmiatul Aqli programme received their certificates of completion during a ceremony yesterday.
The programme was jointly organised by the Takmir Committee of the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque, Kampong Mentiri in collaboration with the Village Consultative Council of RPN Kampong Panchor Mengkubau.
Head facilitator and founder of Tanmiatul Aqli Programme Hajah Shamsiniah binti Haji Kepli said that the participants visited various historical places such as the Malay Technology Museum, Royal Regalia Museum and took part in activities as well as motivational talks.
She hoped that similar programmes can be conducted annually for the benefit of children in filling their holiday with beneficial activities.
Guest of honour, member of the Legislative Council Yang Berhormat Khairunnisa binti Haji Ash’ari, presented certificates to the children at the ceremony.
