SOME 356 students from 124 underprivileged families from all over the Sultanate received donations from the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) during a ceremony held at its Multipurpose Hall yesterday.
Guest of honour was the Permanent Secretary (Economy) at the Ministry of Finance and Economy Dr Hajah May Fa’ezah binti Haji Ahmad Ariffin in her capacity as the YSHHB Aid Review Committee member.
The donations were in the form of coupons to buy school supplies and necessities as well as exercise books. A total of 206 primary school students received BND73 coupon each, while 150 secondary school students received BND84 coupon each.
