MINISTER of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman visited the construction site of the Rimba Arabic secondary school for an inspection of the current work in progress yesterday.
The minister was briefed by Head of the Building and Maintenance Division at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) Haji Md Rozaiman bin Haji Abdul Rahman.
Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Permanent Secretary at the MoRA Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof and Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Religious) at the MoRA Pengiran Anak Dr Haji AmiruddinAlam Shah bin Pengiran Anak Haji Ismail were also present. Upon completion, the school can accommodate around 2,000 students. It is also outfitted with a Science and Language laboratory, a lecture room, multipurpose hall, administration offices, teachers’ room, library, dormitories, prayer hall, cafeteria and a playing-field grandstand.
The building is also equipped with safety and security tools, with security guardhouses at the school entrance and exits.
