THREE athletes left for Phuket, Thailand to represent Brunei in a Muay Thai competition at Bangla Boxing Stadium today, (9pm local time).
The athletes are Sahrin bin Haji Kassim (category 65kg), Awangku Mohd Khairul Bahri bin Pengiran Aliumar (category 70kg) and Shahdon bin Haji Kassim (category 90 kg).
They will compete against athletes from Australia, China, Cyprus, France and host country Thailand.
Chainblock directors Lim Boon Kheng, Hong Kim Seng, Alex Chong and family members were present at the Brunei International Airport to bid farewell to the athletes.
