DAIMUN Security Services (DSS) held a parade and a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony at the Hall of the Perkampungan Sukan, Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas yesterday.
The ceremony began with the inspection of parade by Managing Director of DSS and Chief Operation Officer Major (Rtd) Wan Mohd Tambrin Sah bin Haji Suhaili.
Major (Rtd) Wan Mohd Tambrin Sah said that DSS, established in 2012, has over 1,000 employees.
He said after over six years of DSS operations they have accumulated an array of clientele ranging from the oil and gas industries, governmental institutions to private personal properties.
The event proceeded with a recitation of Doa Kesyukuran followed by the presentation of commendation awards to outstanding security guards assigned to Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (BSP), Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd and Golden Corporation Sdn Bhd.
The awards included the promotion of two senior officers and the awarding of certificates of appreciation to staff who have demonstrated excellent performance.
