AS PART of efforts in assisting the orphans and underprivileged families for the upcoming school term, Samima Sdn Bhd organised a donation presentation at its Kiulap branch yesterday.
Fifty orphans from Brunei-Muara and Tutong districts received a coupon worth BND30 each handed over by Managing Director of Samima Sdn Bhd Haji Hidayatullah bin Haji Tejuddin.
The event also saw the handing over of donation worth BND500 for persons with disabilities (OKU) which was received by Assistant Director at the Community Development Department (JAPEM) Haji Khairul Ariffin bin Haji Abdul Aji.
According to Haji Hidayatullah, the donation is an ongoing event and is part of its effort to give back to the society and help underprivileged families in the Sultanate.
