THE Brunei Squash Rackets Association released the latest rankings of the men and women squash players in Brunei Darussalam recently.
Topping the ranking for the men single players is Abang Md Huzairie bin Abang Md Ali with 4,268 points, followed by Lim Kok Sheng in second place with 2,806 points, and Md Fauzi bin Zaini in third place with 2,779 points.
Hamidah Ismail is at the top of the tier for the women single players with 2,730 points, Halizzah Sirat in second place with 1,369.80 points and Nuraini Zabar in third place with 1,337.80.
The Brunei Squash Rackets Association is actively competing in regional competitions and tournaments in the bid to gain more exposure and in particular to encourage more Brunei players to join in this fast-paced and exciting racket sports.
Members of the association and other youth development projects are conducting training sessions at the Squash Stadium in Berakas twice per week, and are planning to conduct a squash clinic for school children.
