THE Belait Arabic School (SAB) recently organised a series of health-focussed activities for the students of Years 5 to 8.
The healthy lifestyle programme included a tooth-brushing campaign and an ‘eat more fruit’ campaign, as well as briefings on the importance of maintaining personal hygiene.
On the first day of the programme, the students practised tooth-brushing techniques, while learning about the importance of brushing their teeth after meals.
Ustazah Nur Adriana binti Haji Mohd Azman, one of the school’s teachers under the Health Department, said that the programme will be conducted throughout the year, in order to encourage the students to adopt healthy habits.
“We hope that it will continue to be supported by the school, as well as the students’ parents and guardians, to help us achieve the goal of healthy future for Brunei Darussalam,” she said.
