THE closing ceremony and certificate presentation of the Penyuntingan Desertasi ke Buku workshop, organised by the Language and Literature Bureau (DBP) of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS), was held at the DBP’s Balai Sarmayuda yesterday.
Thirty-three officers and staff from departments under the MCYS attended the three-day workshop to enhance their skills and gain knowledge in producing high-quality publications.
Acting Head of the Book Planning Section and event chairperson Hajah Norati binti Bakar expressed gratitude and satisfaction at the dedication and commitment of participants during the workshop and hoped that they will utilise their newly-acquired skills and knowledge to improve standards.
Acting Deputy Director of DBP Dr Haji Mohd Ali bin Haji Radin, representing Acting Director of DBP Suip bin Haji Abdul Wahab, presented certificates to participants.
The ceremony ended with a Doa Selamat.
