His Majesty first visited the new Tarindak Ungkayah Graduan Restaurant, which is operated by 16 graduates and represents one of the efforts inspired by His Majesty in assisting youth to venture into the business world as a source of revenue.
The restaurant’s official opening on January 6 this year, is hoped to encourage other graduates to get out of their comfort zones in exploring entrepreneurship opportunities, to fulfil their anticipated role as the country’s most valued asset.
His Majesty’s arrival was welcomed by the graduates, with whom the monarch posed for a group photograph. His Majesty also had a look at the restaurant’s ice cream menu and even exchanged greetings with the dine-in patrons.
His Majesty later visited Anjung Saujana Restaurant, operated by Royal Brunei Catering (RBC). Formerly known as The Airport Restaurant & Coffee Shop, Anjung Saujana Restaurant opened its doors to the public on October 2, 2014, after a major renovation and expansion of the Brunei International Airport. The restaurant features both à la carte and buffet menus, taking inspiration from culinary delights from around the world.
