IN THE run-up to Chinese New Year, free giveaways of traditional red packets and festive cookies were held yesterday at Telekom Brunei Berhad (TelBru)’s 10 branches across Brunei.
At the Panaga TelBru branch in the Belait District, customers were personally welcomed by TelBru Chief Executive Officer David Holliday, who also visited the other outlets to wish the customers a happy Chinese New Year.
“This is a custom that we’ve done for several years now at TelBru, and I feel that it is really good to go out and meet our customers to say thank you,” he told the Bulletin.
As to their resolutions for Chinese New Year 2019, he responded that “TelBru will continue to further work closely with our customers and to bring them more relevant products and services”. Holliday concluded the interview by conveying the age-old greetings of Gong Xi Fa Cai to all of their Chinese customers, while also wishing them a happy and propitious New Year.
The free giveaways will be available at all TelBru branches while stocks last.
