HIS Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office yesterday attended a Chinese New Year (CNY) open house at the residence of Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Goh King Chin.
His Royal Highness was accompanied by Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Muntaqim, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda Muhammad Aiman and Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Faathimah Az-Zahraa’ Raihaanul Bolkiah.
Upon arrival at Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Goh’s residence in Kampong Sungai Besar, Jalan Kota Batu, Their Royal Highnesses were greeted by the host and his spouse, as well as other members of his family.
Their Royal Highnesses also consented to a group photo with Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Goh and his family members. From Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Goh’s residence, Their Royal Highnesses then consented to visit the residence of Managing Director of D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd, Jackson Ting. Upon arrival at Jackson Tings’ residence in Kampong Sungai Besar in Jalan Kota Batu, Their Royal Highnesses were greeted by the host and his spouse, as well as other members of his family.
Their Royal Highnesses also joined in the tossing of the Yee Sang with members of Jackson Ting’s family, as well as a group photo.
Later in the afternoon, Their Royal Highnesses consented to attend the Chinese New Year open house of the Managing Director of Goldmyne Sdn Bhd Dato Seri Lau Kung Ching, at his residence in Kampong Telanai.
Upon arrival, Their Royal Highnesses were greeted by Dato Seri Lau and his spouse as well as other members of his family.
Their Royal Highnesses also consented to join in the tossing of the Yee Sang and a group photo with Dato Seri Lau and his family members.
That same afternoon, Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Goh and his family members received a visit by His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik, Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Raabi’atul ‘Adawiyyah binti Pengiran Haji Bolkiah, and daughters Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muthee’ah Raayatul Bolqiah and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Fathiyyah Rafaahul Bolqiah.
His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik, Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Raabi’atul ‘Adawiyyah and daughters also visited Jackson Ting’s residence, and also consented to perform the tossing of the Yee Sang with members of Jackson Ting’s family, as well as a group photo.
Meanwhile, also consenting to visit Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Goh’s residence was His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, who was accompanied by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Muda Dr Abdul Fattaah and Pengiran Wajeeh Al-Bolkiah bin Pengiran Haji Mohammad Hakimmuddin.
Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Goh also received a visit by Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who was accompanied by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar, Chief of Adat Istiadat Negara and other members of the royal family.
Her Royal Highness, Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz and other members of the royal family also graced a Chinese New Year open house hosted by Chang Ein Hong.
At the Changs’ residence, Her Royal Highness, Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz and other members of the royal family were greeted by Chang Ein Hong, his spouse and family.
Her Royal Highness, Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz and other members of the royal family also consented to a group photo with the Chang family.
Also visiting the Changs’ residence was the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam Yu Hong, as well as Cabinet Ministers, prominent business figures and former cabinet ministers.
