SINARAN Pelangi School organised a number of performances and activities to mark Chinese New Year.
Students aged three to Kindergarten 3 level, donning bright red outfits and traditional costumes, joined in the revelry yesterday, crafting their own fans and dancing and singing to skits, and getting to know the holiday better during the school’s Chinese New Year celebration.
The celebration is an important part of the school’s activities to foster cultural and social integration within the country’s mixed and colourful community, as well as to celebrate the uniqueness of each of their students and increase awareness on the importance of family.
