HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam left Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia yesterday after attending the 22nd Annual Leaders’ Consultation between Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam; and a get-together ceremony with citizens and residents of Brunei Darussalam who are currently in Malaysia.
Before leaving the hotel, a Doa Selamat was recited by State Mufti Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned.
Present at the Subang Air Base to bid farewell to His Majesty were Minister of Economic Affairs of Malaysia Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin bin Ali as the Minister-in-Attendance.
Also present was High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia Dato Paduka Haji Alaihuddin bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Lela Dato Seri Utama Haji Awang Mohd Taha.
Prior to boarding the special aircraft, His Majesty walked past a static guard of honour mounted by the members of the 1st Battalion of the Royal Ranger Regiment, the Malaysian Army.
