Prince ‘Abdul Mateen leads Red Team at Richard Mille Polo

THE Richard Mille Polo Tournament started yesterday at the Royal Brunei Polo and Riding Club in Jerudong.

His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen’s Red Team is the current leader in the tournament.

The tournament was played in a round robin format involving three teams – Red Team, Black Team and White Team.

In the first match, Red Team led by His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen won 5-2 against the Black Team led by His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah.

The White Team led by Her Royal Highness Princess ‘Azemah Ni’matul Bolkiah beat Black Team 2-1 in the second match. Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Muda Bahar also played for the White Team.

The third match saw the Red Team tied with the White Team with the score 3-3.

Also in attendance were Her Royal Highness Princess Fadzilah Lubabul Bolkiah, Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Muda Abdul Qawi and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Muda Abdul Hakeem.

The tournament continues today and the final match will be held tomorrow.
