PRESIDENT of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in and spouse Kim Jung-sook, and delegation left Brunei Darussalam yesterday morning after concluding a three-day State Visit to the country.
Present at the Brunei International Airport to bid farewell to President of the Republic of Korea and spouse were Minister of Home Affairs as Minister-in-Attendance Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong and spouse, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Haji Apong and spouse, Minister of Foreign Affairs II Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof and spouse, and Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Brunei Darussalam Yoon Hyun-bong.
Prior to boarding the aircraft, the President of the Republic of Korea and spouse proceeded to walk past the static guard of honour by members of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
The State Visit of the President of the Republic of Korea shows the close bilateral relationship between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Korea in various fields.
The meeting between the leaders of both countries and the signing of new Memorandums of Understanding constitute the further enhancement of such ties.
