Delegation Singapore bound for twinning programme

TEN Pre-U1 Biology students and two Biology teachers, Hayatul Fakhriah binti Mahari and Siti Dayanawati binti Awang Daud of Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Science College (MSPSBS) left for Singapore yesterday for a five-day School Twinning Programme (STP) to National University of Singapore High School (NUSHS) of Mathematics and Science.

The delegation was sent off by officer from the Department of Schools at the Ministry of Education (MoE), parents and families.

The delegation will be in Singapore for four days to participate in learning and research on Biology in NUSHS.

STP is a joint initiative by the MoE of Brunei and Ministry of Education Singapore in educational cooperation since 2006.

MSPSBS is one of the pioneer institutions of STP where each visit is represented by a focus subject group namely Physics group in 2006; Biology group in 2008; Mathematics group in 2010; Chemistry group in 2012; and Physics group in 2014.

MSPSBS will host NUSHS from June 11-15 to complete the 6th cycle of visit between the two institutions.
