RELIGIOUS Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) conducted the Ukhuwah Islamiyyah Camp Programme from March 28-29 at Kampong Bukit Mosque, Tutong.
The programme was organised by the university’s Faculty of Usuluddin, Fikrah Club in collaboration with the Islamic Da’wah Centre and Kampong Bukit Mosque.
Guest of honour Dean of the Faculty of Usuluddin at KUPU SB Dr Mikdar Rusdi launched the programme.
Themed Ukhuwah Penjana Negara Zikir, the two-day programme consisted of religious talks relating to strengthening the Aqidah, Syaksiah and raised the importance of ukhuwah.
It also included an Amali guidance clinic, Taharah, prayers, Azan and Tausyeh workshops as well as community
services. The programme, which has been running since 2011, focussed on the concept of ‘3S’, namely Syiar, Salam and Silaturrahim.
It also aimed at instilling a sense of responsibility as Muslims and strengthe-ning ties between the students and village residents.
