THE Information Department through its Belait District branch held a Nationhood Programme at St Margaret’s School on Tuesday.
The department officials led by Head of the Information Department, Belait District branch Pengiran Haji Ahmad Fadillah Akhbar bin Pengiran Haji Sellahuddin was welcomed by the school Deputy Principal Suresh Babu.
Sixty-six Year 7 students and teachers attended the programme.
Pengiran Haji Ahmad Fadillah Akhbar briefed them on the history of the Brunei monarchy, the procedures of hoisting the national flag and the history of the national anthem.
A quiz was held and students who answered correctly received prizes.
