THE Acting High Commissioner of Pakistan to Brunei Darussalam Ahmed Ali Sirohey and President/Chairman of Brunei Darussalam International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BDICCI) Haji Shazali bin Dato Haji Sulaiman discussed cooperation between Brunei and Pakistan business houses.
They discussed the scope of Halal food, health, education, agricultural products, processed food, textile, auto spare parts and shipping sector joint ventures. The acting high commissioner proposed that an exploratory visit from Brunei may be made in the last quarter of 2019. It will provide opportunity to find appropriate partners and avenues of mutual benefit.
The President of BDICCI appreciated the proposal and suggested that before Bruneian delegation goes to Pakistan; a delegation from Pakistan may be invited on an exploratory visit.
The envoy assured that efforts in this regard would be made. He also informed that a catalogue show would be arranged later this month to introduce Pakistani products and services to Bruneians.
