HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday afternoon received in audience seven heads of delegation.
Also present at the audience held at Istana Nurul Iman was His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office.
His Majesty received Josh Frydenberg, Minister for the Environment and Energy, Australia; Osea Naiqamu, Minister of Fisheries and Forests, Fiji Islands; Dato Seri Dr Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Malaysia; Ohn Win, Minister of Environment Conservation and Forestry, Myanmar; Contancio da Conceicao Pinto, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Environment, Timor Leste; Matai Seremiah, Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Forestry, Fisheries and Biosecurity and Ham Lini Vanuaroroa, Minister of Climate Change, Vanuatu.
The heads of delegation are in Brunei Darussalam to attend the 2nd Asia Pacific Rainforest Summit 2016 held from August 3 to 4, 2016.
Also present was Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Haji Apong, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism.
